Detailed K2 Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive in Islamabad, where our team welcomes you with a detailed expedition briefing, equipment inspection, and overnight hotel stay.
Day 2 – Fly to Skardu
Take a scenic flight to Skardu (weather permitting) or begin the drive via the Karakoram Highway if flights are unavailable. Overnight stay in Skardu.
Day 3 – Preparation Day in Skardu
Complete permit formalities, purchase last-minute supplies, and meet the trekking staff and porters while exploring the beautiful town of Skardu.
Day 4 – Drive to Askole
Travel by 4×4 jeep to Askole, the last permanent village before entering the Karakoram wilderness. Overnight camping.
Day 5 – Trek to Jhola
Begin the trek along the Braldu River, crossing suspension bridges and rugged mountain terrain before reaching Jhola campsite.
Day 6 – Trek to Paiju
Continue trekking to Paiju Camp, famous for its spectacular views of Paiju Peak and the Baltoro Glacier.
Day 7 – Trek to Khoburtse
Cross the magnificent Baltoro Glacier while enjoying panoramic views of Trango Towers, Uli Biaho, and Cathedral Peaks.
